On 6 December 2023, at the BV booth at Marintec China, YADA and MAN Cryo received an AiP for their joint development of an ammonia fuel supply system. BV’s Alex Gregg-Smith, Senior Vice President & Chief Executive North Asia Zone and China, and Dr. Huatao Jiang, Director of Innovation North Asia Zone and Director of Marketing & Sales presented the AiP. It marks that the solution has received international recognition.

MAN Cryo, a subsidiary of MAN Energy Solutions, has announced that its concept for an ammonia fuel-delivery system has obtained Approval in Principle (AiP) from classification agencies DNV and Bureau Veritas.

MAN Cryo has announced that its design for an ammonia fuel-supply system to safely provide ammonia to marine-engine applications has been awarded an Approval in Principle from classification societies, DNV and Bureau Veritas.

December 3, 2025, Shanghai, China – During Marintec China 2025, the joint design for a marine liquid hydrogen fuel supply system, developed by Zhejiang Yada Green Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (YADA) and Everllence Cryo AB, was granted an Approval in Principle (AiP) certificate by Bureau Veritas (BV).
