At 11:00 a.m. on August 3, 2026, YADA Green Energy Solutions officially delivered its first methanol fuel supply system for inland waterway methanol-powered vessels at its Jiaxing plant. The delivery marks the beginning of a new “second growth curve” for the company, which has been deeply engaged in the marine and offshore equipment industry for more than 30 years.

At the delivery ceremony, YADA Green Energy Solutions officially handed over its first inland waterway methanol fuel supply system to Zhejiang Duobang Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. The system has obtained CCS product type approval and received the first product certificate for an inland waterway vessel methanol fuel supply system issued by the Shanghai Office of China Classification Society (CCS).

Zhu Tianyi, Deputy Mayor of Xinfeng Town, Nanhu District, Jiaxing, Chen Yuming, President of the Jiaxing Shipbuilding Association, and other government officials and industry representatives attended the ceremony.

Xiang Guangqing, Chairman of YADA Green Energy Solutions, said:
“This is more than the launch of a new YADA product. It is also a landmark moment as we begin a ‘second growth curve’ through our inland waterway strategy. We aim to provide an integrated, one-stop solution covering system design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, online monitoring, operation management, and maintenance services throughout the entire lifecycle. Our goal is to make shipowners willing to switch, able to afford the solution, and confident in using it.”

“Considering the shallow draft, limited space, and large-volume demand of inland waterway vessels, we carried out a comprehensive redesign, optimization, and validation of the system,” said the technical lead.
After two years of R&D and multiple rounds of testing, the system has achieved four major upgrades:
Safety Upgrade — A full-process safety interlock system provides comprehensive protection. The safety system has been redesigned to meet the complex operating conditions of inland waterways.
Smart Upgrade — An intelligent control system provides accurate and reliable operation, remote monitoring, and smart maintenance, allowing shipowners to check system status at any time.
Integration Upgrade — The highly integrated design reduces size and weight while enabling an optimized layout within limited onboard space.
Adaptability Upgrade — The system is compatible with mainstream methanol-powered engines and meets the diverse requirements of inland waterway vessels ranging from 100-ton-class to 10,000-ton-class vessels.
Backed by its established manufacturing capabilities, YADA Green Energy Solutions has now developed an annual production capacity of 300 inland waterway methanol fuel supply systems.
The system features a self-developed intelligent control unit for accurate metering, real-time operating-condition monitoring, automatic fault warnings, and remote diagnostics. Its highly integrated design makes the system smaller, lighter, and easier to install. It is also compatible with major methanol engine products currently used in China, covering a wide range of inland waterway vessels from 100-ton-class to 10,000-ton-class.

Delivery is not the end, but the starting point for service.
YADA Green Energy Solutions will provide comprehensive technical support and maintenance services for its methanol fuel supply systems, helping methanol-powered vessels achieve tangible economic benefits on inland waterways.
“Starting from today, YADA aims to promote large-scale application across major river systems in China and provide practical experience and a reference model for the green and low-carbon transformation of the country's inland waterway transportation industry.”
